Vice President, Digital & eCommerce – Luxury Goods Retailer
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President, Digital & eCommerce to lead our online retail division focusing on an international level. The Vice President, Digital & eCommerce will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our e-commerce business, optimizing the online customer journey, and maximizing revenue. As the head of our e-commerce team, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Key responsibilities include:
- E-commerce Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with the company's goals and vision. This includes setting clear objectives, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and creating a roadmap for growth.
- Website Management: Oversee the management and continuous improvement of our e-commerce platform. Ensure the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for performance, SEO, and mobile devices.
- Merchandising and Product Presentation: Collaborate with merchandising teams to curate product assortments, manage inventory, and present products in an enticing and appealing manner online.
- Customer Experience: Enhance the online shopping experience by implementing best practices in UX/UI design, personalization, and customer support. Monitor customer feedback and take actions to address concerns and improve satisfaction.
- Digital Marketing: Lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising, to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and achieve revenue targets.
- Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to track website performance, sales metrics, and customer behavior. Use insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to the e-commerce strategy.
- International Expansion: Identify opportunities for international growth and develop strategies for entering new markets, including localization and market-specific adaptations.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing e-commerce team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Partnerships and Vendor Management: Collaborate with external partners, agencies, and technology providers to ensure the success of e-commerce initiatives.
- Budget Management: Manage the e-commerce budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.
Expertise needed for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in e-commerce leadership roles, ideally within the luxury goods industry.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- In-depth knowledge of e-commerce technologies and trends.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Multilingual skills (desired for global expansion efforts).
